Having registered your interest, you will receive a copy of the current programme and will be invited to join us for a ‘taster’ lecture. You may also participate in other Society events and visits, provided spaces are available, as a guest.

If you enjoy what we have to offer - and we are confident that you will - you can apply to join at any time. The annual membership subscription, set at the AGM in October, is curently £60.00.

Annual membership renewal is due from July 1st, the beginning of the Society's financial year. In August, members receive the new season’s annual programme of lectures and events, and their membership card.

Members of The Arts Society Bury St Edmunds are automatically affiliated to the National Society, which takes £14.50 of the membership subscription as an affiliation fee. They receive a copy of The Arts Society Magazine, which is issued three times a year. This high quality publication carries exclusive features by leading arts writers and keeps members up-to-date with arts news and Society events and activities across the country.

Visitors, accompanying a member, may attend individual lectures for a suggested donation of £10 per event.
